PFT Health and Wellness Educational Conference

Welcome!

Friday March 8, 2013

Good evening and welcome to our presentation on how to start a teacher blog! Tonight we are going to share helpful tips and tools that will get you started on creating your blog. I developed this blog so that after tonight (because our time is limited), you can back and find a wealth of resources that will help you in the early stages of your blogging adventures. There could be a college course dedicated to the ins and outs of creating and maintaining a blog; unfortunately we only have about an hour. During our presentation make sure you bookmark this page and follow this blog so that you can come back and visit.

The great thing about this particular blog is that it will grow. I plan to add contributors who are willing to share tips (no matter how big or small). If only we could earn credits for this, lol! No worries, the resources you find through blogging will enhance any teacher's tool kit (and I will share other ways you can pad your pockets through blogging ; ).

After tonight if you have any questions, do not hesitate to leave them here or send them via email (notsowimpyteacher@gmail.com). If I can't answer your question, I will definitely point you in the right direction. Don't forget to click through all of the links, including the PD Goodie Bag Link!

If you teach in Phildelphia (or the surrounding area) and you are on Facebook, let us know if you want to be added to the group iTeach(in Philly). If so, leave us your email and we will send an invite for you to join this network for teachers.

Happy Blogging,

Audrey's Intro!

Hi!!

My name is Audrey Fields and I want to help anyone who is interested to be a more organized person.  Sometimes, when you start to organize one place, you find the need to organize in other areas too.  It will make your life so much easier and that's what I hope to help you do!
My husband jokes me constantly about my organizing his life - "Ask Audrey - she knows where it is and when. I'm just the driver!"
He loves it and so do I.  I hope you will too!

Kathie and I want to welcome you to blogging!
